ECSA Awards ECSA Awards a number of trophies. Each has it''s own page with more details and past winners. Seasonal Offshore Circuit Performance Trophies: Divisional: Each ECSA division will be awarded trophies for first, second and third place, provided three boats qualify in the division. If 12 or more qualify, a fourth place award will presented as well. Overall: All spinaker division qualifiers are eligible for the overall circuit trophies. We award trophies for first, second and third place, provided three boats qualify. If 12 or more qualify, a fourth place award will presented as well. First Place Overall is recognized by a perpetual trophy as well. Distance Trophy: A distance-racing trophy will be awarded for the best performance in each division for the overnight races. A minimum of 2 races are required to qualify, and scoring will be based on the total point for the two events sailed with the highest points won. North Cove Team Trophy: Awarded annually to ECSA member yacht club with best 4 boats accumulated score (best 6 races) in spinnaker divisions. North Cove Outer Light Trophy: Awarded annually to ECSA member yacht club with best 2 boats accumulated score (best 5 races) in non-spinnaker divisions. Special Trophies Stu Sylvestri Trophy: Awarded annually to member yacht club with the most outstanding race committee work. Richard H. Roberts Trophy: Awarded annually to the member yacht club for the best post-race party. Ronald A. Sternicki Trophy: Awarded annually to the ECSA member who sails the most ECSA Offshore Circuit races. ECSA Commodore's Trophy: Awarded occasionally for special service.
